If you’re between the ages of 13 and 18, and have your parent/guardian’s permission, you can:

• Learn about the RAAF, aircraft, and aviation – if you like it, you can be flying an aircraft by yourself before you even get your drivers licence!

• Experience what it’s like in the RAAF, by spending a week on a RAAF base. There you will also make new friends from all over the state, and even get the chance to fly in Australian military aircraft!

• Learn to shoot a small bore rifle safely and competently, and participate in local, state, and national shooting competitions (optional).

• Participate in challenging field craft camps and learn new skills like navigation, radio communication and bush survival.

• If you find that too easy, you can compete for the Adventure Training Award – a physically challenging five-day field training competition that only the toughest can complete.

Air Force Cadets training opportunities also include powered flying, abseiling, gliding, and even the chance to go overseas with the International Air Cadet Exchange program. What are you waiting for? Come and find out how you can do it all at our Recruit Information Sessions.

Bring your parents to the Erina Army Reserve Depot, Central Coast Highway, Erina at 7:15pm on any of the following evenings to get all the information you need to start you off on the adventure of your life!
